How to add a service to your MioCommerce e-commerce website

In this tutorial you will see how to publish a service to your custom MioCommerce

e-commerce website. This article is split into three steps:

Create and export your MioCommerce booking page

Create a booking page for your new service in your MioCommerce account. Please see our guide going in-depth about booking pages for guidance with booking pages.
Once your booking page is created, click on Install in the left sidebar and select Embed on your website.
Copy the code that shows up as you will need it in the next step on your website. If you need help with copying your booking page code, read our guide about this topic.

Log in to your website.
Inside the Wordpress dashboard, click on pages in the left sidebar.
On the pages tab, you should see a table with all of your pages. Click on Add New in the top left corner.
In the page editor, give your page a title.
Click the blue “+” in the top left corner and search for the “Custom HTML” block. Click on it to add it to the page editor.
In the page editor, where it reads “write HTML...” paste the booking page code you have copied in the first section of this guide. If you need guidance on how to do this, read our guide about this topic.
Add a main image to your booking page by clicking on Page in the right sidebar and then selecting the Featured Image dropdown. Click on Set featured image and select the image that should be the main image for your booking page.
In the Page attributes dropdown in the right sidebar, search for your services page in the Parent page box. If you are using a premium MioCommerce website, set the parent page to the relevant service category (usually titled “commercial services” or “residential services”). If you are using an advanced MioCommerce website, the parent page will be the page grouping all of your services (usually titled “Our Services”).
Once your page is ready to be published, click on Publish in the top right corner. You can also Save as draft to save your work and come back at a later time to publish it.

Inside the WordPress dashboard, click on services in the left sidebar.
On the services page, you should see a table with all of your services. Click on New in the top left corner.
You should now be in the WordPress post editor. Give your service a Title and write the content inside the editor. If you would like to learn more about using the editor, check out our article that goes in-depth with the WordPress editor.

Scroll down to the bottom of the editor to the section titled Service and fill in the following fields:
If you are using a premium MioCommerce website template, select the service category by clicking on Services in the right sidebar and then ticking the service category in the Service type dropdown.
Add a main image to your service by clicking on Services in the right sidebar and then selecting the Featured Image dropdown. Click on Set featured image and select the image that should be the main image for your service.
Once your service is ready to be published, click on Publish in the top right corner. You can also Save as draft to save your work and come back at a later time to publish it.
