If your business needs to collect a new tax rate - for example, a different regional tax or a new government requirement - you can easily add a new tax code from your account settings.

Why add a new tax code?
You may need a new tax code if:
You operate in multiple tax jurisdictions
Tax regulations change
You launch a new booking page requiring a different tax setup

Step by Step Instructions -
Step 1: Go to Taxes
Navigate to: Settings > Taxes
Step 2: Click “Add Tax Code”
On the left side of the screen, under Actions, click:
Add Tax Code
Step 3: Understand how tax dates work
If you are adding a tax rate to an existing booking page, older bookings will keep their original tax rate.
All new bookings will use the newly added tax rate.
If this is for a new booking page, the default effective date will automatically be set to the most recent date.
Step 4: Select the country and tax
Click “Yes” to view all country taxes.
Click the blue box to expand and view specific country tax codes.
Click the green + icon to add the selected tax code to your account.
Step 5: Modify the tax details (if needed)
After adding the tax code:
Click the gear icon to adjust the Tax Rate or Tax Number.
Click Save when finished.
