How to add/edit the discount after the booking is created?

You can apply or modify a discount on a booking at any time, even after it has been created.

This is useful when:

  • Offering a first-time or loyalty discount

  • Adjusting pricing after a customer conversation

  • Correcting a pricing oversight

Discounts are applied directly within the booking and automatically update the total.

Add or edit a discount on a booking

  1. Go to Bookings and open the booking you want to update.

  2. Click the Edit icon.

  3. Click the $+ button to add a custom discount.

  4. Enter a name for the discount (e.g., First Booking Discount, Loyalty Discount).

  5. Enter the discount value.

  6. Choose whether the discount should be:

    • A percentage (e.g., 15% off), or

    • A fixed amount (e.g., $10 off).

  7. Click Save.

The booking total will automatically recalculate to reflect the updated discount.

What happens after a discount is applied?

When you add or modify a discount:

  • The subtotal and total are recalculated immediately

  • Taxes are recalculated based on the new total

  • Any invoice generated from this booking will reflect the updated amount

If an invoice has already been finalized, you may need to update or regenerate it separately.
