You may need to manage your customer's Card Payments on file, when it comes to customers with multiple payment options.

TO SET A PAYMENT METHOD AS A PRIMARY PAYMENT METHOD

Setting a Card Payment as "Primary" means this is the card which will be defaulted to from now on. To do this, Go into Customers > Open your Customer's Profile. Click on Payment Options on the bottom right hand side.

Here you can see all of your Customer's previously used Card Payments, and which of their cards is set to "Primary" - Primary Card Payments are highlighted in green.

HOW TO SET A CARD AS THE "PRIMARY" CARD PAYMENT OPTION

From here, click the right arrow on any card listed. You will see a screen like below. Select this Card Payment as "Primary" and then click the green "Save" button at the bottom.

HOW TO CHOOSE A CARD PAYMENT WHEN CHARGING A CUSTOMER

When charging a customer, you can now also choose the card from a drop-down menu when checking out. Simply go to Customers > Open the Customer Profile > Click Charge Customer, from the right hand side menu.

Once you have clicked on Charge Customer, you can click Choose A Card to select the payment option you desire from a dropdown of available payment methods for that customer.

Select the correct Card Payment and complete the charge.
