Cost of SMS Channel Explained!
The cost of the SMS Channel is based on two items (Segment and Active Users)
Segment* - A segment is a text message that contains less then 160 characters.
Active users** - An Active User is a participant with a unique phone number.
With the Multi-Channel PLUS plan, your SMS Channel includes 1000 Segments per Month & 100 Active User per Month.
Automatic account top-ups for SMS
What happens if I want to send text to more than 100 users or send more than 1000 segments to users?
Your MioCommerce account is set to automatic account top-ups when your balance falls below a trigger amount i.e. 90% of your limit.
*The Multi-Channel PLUS plan includes 1000 Free BASE Segments per Month. A segment is a text messages that contains less than 160 characters. Within each month, if you reach 90% of your segment limit, an Add-on of 500 segment will automatically be added to your MCI Subscription and will automatically be charged to your credit card on file.
All Add-on segments un-used in the current month will roll over to the following month. BASE segments do not roll-over to the next month.
**The Multi-Channel PLUS plan includes 100 Free BASE Active Users per Month. An Active User is a participant with a unique phone number. Within each month, if you reach 90% of your active users limit, an Add-on** of 100 active users will be added to your balance and you will automatically be charged to your credit card on file.
All Add-on active users un-used in the current month will roll over to the following month. BASE Active Users do not roll-over to the next month.
