Create a Booking Directly from the Calendar

Create a new booking or block time without leaving the Calendar view

When a customer calls or messages, you often need to confirm a time immediately.


Creating the booking directly from the Calendar lets you secure the time slot while viewing your full schedule โ€” without switching screens or double booking.

It also allows you to block time quickly when you or your team are unavailable (Non-working hours)

Internal (Call-In / Offline) bookings can be created from multiple areas inside MioCommerce โ€” including the Dashboard, Calendar, Bookings page, and Customer Profile.


No matter where you start, the booking follows the same availability, pricing, and permission rules.

When to Use This

Use this when:

  • A customer calls and wants to book immediately

  • You need to add an internal (call-in) booking

  • You want to block time as non-working hours

  • Youโ€™re adjusting availability on the fly

How to Create a Booking from the Calendar

  1. Go to Operations โ†’ Calendar.

  2. Click on any empty space in the Calendar.

  3. Choose:

  4. Complete the booking details and save.

You can also click and drag on the Calendar to define the time range before creating the booking or non-working hour. This allows you to set the exact start and end time directly from the Calendar.

What Happens Next

  • The booking appears immediately on the Calendar.

  • It follows your business rules (operating hours, service availability, provider capacity).

  • If it conflicts with another booking (double booking), the system will flag it with red colour.
