How can I edit details about the attachment?

Need to update a file attached to a Booking?


You can easily manage your attachments β€” including renaming, replacing, deleting, or adjusting who can view them.

You can also edit the access rights of who can view the attachment.

What can you edit?

Inside each Booking attachment, you can:

  • Rename the file

  • Replace the file with a new version

  • Delete the attachment

  • Modify access rights (control who can view the file)

This gives you full flexibility if a document was uploaded with the wrong name, outdated information, or incorrect visibility settings.

How to edit an attachment

Step 1: Go to Bookings from the main navigation.

Step 2: Select the Booking that contains the attachment.

Step 3: Scroll to the Attachments section.

Step 4: Click the Eye icon next to the attachment to open its details.

Step 5: On the right-side panel, open the Actions menu.

From there, choose one of the following:

  • Rename

  • Replace

  • Delete

Managing Access Rights

You can control who is allowed to view the attachment:

  • Customer

  • Service Provider

  • Administrator

Adjust visibility depending on whether the document is:

  • A customer invoice or estimate

  • Internal job notes

  • Service documentation

  • Sensitive admin-only information

To Manage access rights > navigate to the specific Booking attachtement - Access Rights section.

If you're updating a document but want to keep the same shareable link, use Replace instead of deleting and re-uploading.
This keeps communications clean and avoids broken links.
