Key Takeaways

  • Operating hours define when your business is open and available for bookings.

  • Customers can schedule appointments only within your operating hours (unless your booking page settings explicitly allow past operating hours)

  • Non-working hours override operating hours and block bookings during vacations, holidays, or closures.

  • Booking page settings (minimum notice, earliest booking time, allow/restrict booking past operating hours etc.) can further control availability.

  • You can configure operating hours in Settings → Operating Hours.

What are Operating Hours?

Your Operating Hours define when your business is open and available to accept bookings. These hours determine when customers can schedule services through your booking page and help ensure appointments are aligned with your team’s availability.

Customers can only schedule bookings within these hours through your advanced booking page.

Example

Sunday: 08:00 AM – 01:00 PM
Monday – Friday: 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM

You can:

  • Set different hours for each day

  • Mark specific days as closed

  • Adjust operating hours anytime if your schedule changes

Setting accurate operating hours prevents bookings outside of your business schedule and keeps dispatching organized.

Why operating hours matter

Setting accurate operating hours helps ensure that bookings align with your team’s availability and prevents bookings outside your business schedule (unless otherwise configured in booking page settings)

Operating hours work together with several other scheduling settings.

Service Provider Work Hours

Each service provider (team member) has their own work schedule.

For example:

  • Company Operating Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Technician Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Bookings will only be available during both time windows.

However, bookings cannot occur outside company operating hours, even if a service provider is available earlier or later.

Non-Working Hours

Non-working hours override both operating hours and service provider's work schedules.

Examples include:

  • Vacations

  • Public holidays

  • Training days

  • Temporary closures

If a service provider has non-working hours set, those time slots will be blocked from bookings, even if they fall within normal operating hours.

Booking Page Availability Rules

Your booking page may also include additional rules that control when customers can schedule services.

These may include:

  • Earliest booking allowed

  • Latest booking allowed

  • Allow or restrict bookings outside operating hours

  • Minimum notice time

These settings provide additional control over booking availability.

Proper configuration ensures customers can only book within valid time windows.
