Keep important details organized — without losing context

Booking Notes help you store important information directly inside a booking. Whether it's specific instructions, internal reminders, or recurring job details, notes make sure nothing gets missed.

You can add notes to:

  • A single booking (one-time appointment), or

  • A recurring booking (applies to all future occurrences)

Where to find Booking Notes

Go to:

Bookings → Select a Booking → Scroll to the Booking Notes section

At the bottom of the Booking Profile, you’ll see separate note areas depending on who should be able to view them.

Understanding Booking Notes (Single vs Recurring)

The Notes section is divided into two sides:

  • Left side → Applies to this booking only

  • Right side → Applies to all bookings in the recurrence

This allows you to control whether information should stay specific to one appointment or apply to every recurring visit.

Notes for a Single Booking (Left Side)

These notes apply only to the selected booking.

You can choose who sees them:

Customer-visible notes
Use this for instructions or information the customer should see.

Example:

  • “Please ensure pets are secured before arrival.”

  • “Arrival window is between 9–11 AM.”

Service provider notes
Visible to assigned service providers and admins.

Example:

  • “Customer prefers eco-friendly products.”

  • “Parking available in rear alley.”

Administrator-only notes
Internal notes visible only to admins.

Example:

  • “Offer loyalty discount next visit.”

  • “Follow up about recurring upsell.”

Notes for Recurring Bookings (Right Side)

These notes apply to every booking in the recurrence.

The same visibility options apply:

  • Customer

  • Service provider

  • Admin only

Use recurring notes for information that never changes across appointments.

Example:

  • “Client has alarm system - code provided.”

  • “Use back entrance.”

  • “Always bring ladder.”

Notes Left by Service Providers

Service providers can also leave notes from the MioCommerce Mobile App.

These notes:

  • Are visible to admins and service providers

  • Are not visible to customers

This is useful for:

  • Reporting issues

  • Flagging damage

  • Internal communication about the job

Why Booking Notes Matter

Booking Notes help you:

  • Avoid repeating instructions every visit

  • Keep communication centralized

  • Prevent miscommunication between admins and service providers

  • Store booking-specific context in one place

  • Maintain professionalism with customer-facing notes

Everything stays attached to the booking — not scattered across emails or messages.
