How to add Text (SMS) Channel to my Multi-Channel Inbox?

MioCommerce gives you the ability to communicate with your customers and prospects in a way that is convenient for them! This article will show you how simple it is to communicate with your customers and prospects through SMS (short message service) messages.

Step 1. Login to your MioCommerce account and Go to App store -> Multi-Channel Inbox

Step 2. Click on Upgrade your Inbox

Step 3. Under the Plus plan, click on Get It Now. For more information on the Multi-Channel PLUS plan, click here!

Step 4. Congratulation! You are now on the Multi-Channel Inbox PLUS plan. Next, click on the big "+" button to add a new channel.

Step 5. In the SMS channel box, click Connect

Step 6. Select a phone number from the dropdown.

Once you have selected the number, click Connect. It will take MioCommerce around 48 hours to activate your new number. During that time, the number is not usable.

We will inform you once the number is activated. You can then start to SMS your customers and prospects from the new number!

Step 7. Once fully connected, your SMS channel will show as Connected in you Multi-Channel Inbox App page. Visit your Inbox to send and receive SMS! Learn more - Get to Know your Inbox

Step 8. Select the SMS channel and search for a customer or prospect you would like to send an SMS to. Type your message and click Send.

Your inbox can be connected to Website Chat, SMS, Facebook, Instagram, Outlook, Microsoft 365 and Gmail. For SMS and Gmail, you need to be on the Multi-Channel Inbox PLUS plan, all other channels are completely free. Want to add a Free Chat Box to your website? Learn more here!

All your customer and prospect conversations will be organized as if they were from the same platform, making it easier for you to manage and respond faster. Your replies go directly to the customer in the channel it came in on—so for them, all they see is a flawless customer experience.

You can communicate with your customers, prospects and service providers all through MioCommerce Mobile App. Sign in as an Admin and navigate to Inbox.
