How can I import my prospects?

Prospects lists can be imported in the Prospects section of your MioCommerce account.

Importing prospects

Prospects can be imported in a .csv file format. You can download a sample customer .csv here. First, open your MioCommerce account and go to CRM -> Prospects

Then click on Import Prospects

Below is an overview of each field in the prospects MioCommerce .csv:

Status

Email Address

Email addresses are used to identify the prospect, send Interactive Quote or to reach him via the Multi-Channel Inbox.

REQUIRED

First Name

The first name of your prospect.

Optional

Last Name

The last name of your prospect.

Optional

Phone Number

The primary phone number of your prospect can be entered along with the proper country code. For example, +1 (123) 456-7890, where +1 is the country code for Canada and the United States.

Optional

Location

The location of your prospect. Enter information like a street address, zip code, province and/or country.

Optional

Notes

Notes that are going to be copied directly to your prospect profile.

Once you've prepared your .csv file, add the file by clicking on Browse or simply drag and drop it from your computer in the red section below

Before starting the import, we strongly recommend to test your file. It will help you identify potential issues that may occur during the import. To test your file, hit Test Now

If you have any errors on your file, please fix them before the importation. Use the warning messages displayed to guide you.

Once ready, click on Import Now.

Your importation is now queued! It can take several minutes to complete. You can track the importation status in the table below.

Once completed, the status of the importation will be set to "Complete"! You can also find the number of prospect found, the number of prospect imported and the number of errors (if any).
