How to create a Service Request Page?

Imagine a world where your customers/prospects can, with a single click, request a service from you on your website in an efficient and user-friendly manner! With MioCommerce’s customizable embedded Service Request pages, this is not just possible; it’s effortless!

Service Request Pages allow your customers/prospects to request services that cannot be instantly priced or booked online. They help you collect the right job details upfront while giving customers immediate confirmation that your team will follow up.

Before you begin

Before creating a Service Request Page:

  • Make sure the services you want to include already exist in your account

  • If a service is missing, you can create it directly during the setup process


Step 1: Create a Service Request Page and add services

Navigate to:

Add services to your page

  • Use the search bar to find existing services

  • If the service you want is not listed, click “Service not listed? Create one here!” (1) and then enter the service you want to add (2)

What happens next:

  • Once the service exists, click Add to my Service Request Page (blue button - 1)

  • Added services appear highlighted in green (2)

  • They immediately become visible in the right-side preview

  • To remove a service, click the red Remove button

Once all required services are added, click Create Service Request Page Now! to proceed.

Step 2: Edit and customize your Service Request Page

This step allows you to customize the questions and sections your customers will fill out.

Best practice for editing

  • Add questions specific to the selected service(s)

  • Collect enough detail to respond confidently without back-and-forth

  • Use this page to qualify the request before booking or quoting

How to edit a section

  • Click the settings icon (⚙️) on the top-right of any section

  • Hover over the pencil icon to edit

  • You can add, remove, or reorder questions as needed

Step 3: Review your Service Request Page

  • All selected services and questions are displayed on the page

  • Use the Preview option to see the customer-facing experience

  • If changes are needed, return to Edit at any time

Step 4: Save, Publish and Install!

  1. Click Save

  2. Preview the page

  3. Click Publish when ready

  4. Select Install to:

    • Share the hosted page link, or

    • Embed the Service Request Page into your website

Your Service Request Page is now live.

Customer experience after submission

Confirmation page

After submitting the Service Request, customers are shown a confirmation page acknowledging their request.

This reassures customers that:

  • Their request was received

  • Your team will follow up shortly

Managing incoming Service Requests

When a customer submits a Service Request, the account administrator automatically receives an email notification.

You can find all submitted requests under: "Service Request" in the left-hand navigation.

From each Service Request, you can:

  • View all customer-provided details

  • See the source of the request

  • Edit the request

  • Convert it to a Booking

  • Convert it to a Quote

  • Request a Signature

  • Delete the request if needed

All information entered by the customer is carried forward.
