How do I copy an existing booking page?

Copy a booking page by exporting it to a file and importing it again

Written by Franc Botti

In MioCommerce, copying an existing booking page is done by exporting the page to a file and then importing that file to create a new booking page.

This is useful when you want to reuse an existing setup without rebuilding it from scratch.

Key Takeaway

You can duplicate an existing booking page by exporting that booking page as a file and importing it back. The imported page is created as a draft that can be edited, renamed, and published independently of the original page. Note that uploaded images are replaced with placeholder images and should be reviewed before publishing.

Step 1: Export the booking page you want to copy

  1. Select the booking page you want to copy

3. Open the Settings tab

4. On the right-hand side, locate the Export section from settings menu

5. Click Export to file

This downloads the booking page configuration to your computer.

Step 2: Start creating a new booking page

  1. Go back to Advanced Booking Pages

  2. Click Create Live Pricing & Real-Time Booking Page at the top of the page

This opens the booking page creation screen.

Step 3: Import the booking page file

  1. On the right-hand side, select Import from file

  2. Choose the file you exported earlier

  3. Upload the file

The booking page will load as a new booking page draft.

Important things to know after importing

After importing a booking page:

  • All images are replaced with system default images

  • The Date selection component is removed

  • You must give the booking page a new name

  • Review all pricing, availability, and booking settings before publishing.

What happens next

Once imported:

  • You’ll be taken to the Booking Page Editor

  • The booking page is created in draft mode.

  • The page is not visible to customers until it is published.

From there, you can:
