How do I update the Billing Address on the Invoice?

You can add or edit the billing address if it is different from the service address

In MioCommerce, the billing address is managed from the customer profile and can be added or edited at any time.
If the billing address is different from the service address, it will automatically appear on the invoice once updated.

Where to update the billing address

  • From the left main menu, click Customers

  • Open the customer profile

If the invoice has already been generated:

  • Go to Payments β†’ Invoices

  • Open the invoice

  • Under the Customer section, click View the customer

How to update the billing address

  1. In the customer profile, go to Actions β†’ Edit

  2. Scroll to the Billing Address section

  3. Select Yes and enter the billing address

  4. Save the changes

Done! To check if the new billing address is added. Navigate to the main menu > payments > Invoices. The billing address will reflect under the invoice column.

    Yes. Billing and service addresses are managed separately.

  2. Do I need to regenerate the invoice after updating the billing address?
    Yes. Once updated in the customer profile, the billing address is reflected automatically in all the invoices generated thereafter.

  3. Can I update the billing address after an invoice is sent?
    Yes. The billing address can be updated at any time, but the updated invoice must be sent again to the customer.
