Can I send an invoice to multiple people at the same time?

Overview

Yes. In MioCommerce, you can send the same invoice to multiple recipients at once.

This is useful when:

  • A customer wants their accountant copied

  • A company requires invoices sent to a billing department

  • Multiple stakeholders are responsible for payment

All recipients will receive the exact same invoice copy.
The invoice amount, status, and payment link remain the same for everyone.

Important for Instant Invoices

When creating an Instant Invoice: You cannot add multiple recipients before saving. You must Click Save Invoice and then follow the below instructions.

Option 1: Add additional emails to an invoice

If you created & saved an Instant Invoice or already have a saved invoice:

  1. Go to Payments → Invoices

  2. Open the invoice

  3. Under the Customer section, add additional email addresses

  4. Send the invoice

What happens after you send it

  • The invoice is sent to all listed email addresses

  • All recipients receive the same invoice copy

  • No changes are made to the invoice amount or payment status

Option 2: How to add additional email addresses from a booking

Use this method if the invoice is created from a booking.

  1. Go to Bookings from the left main menu

  2. Open the booking related to the invoice

  3. Click Generate Invoice (if one hasn’t been created) or Send Invoice (if it’s saved as a draft)

  4. In the pop-up window, enter additional email addresses separated by commas

  5. Send the invoice

Detailed Step by Step Instructions -

1 . On the left main menu > Go to Booking > Select the booking for which you would like to add additional email ids

2. Click on "Generate Invoice" if one is yet to be created or click on "Send Invoice" if the invoice is saved as a draft.

3. A pop-up window will open where additional email ids can be entered separated by a comma.

  1. Will all recipients be notified if the invoice is resent?
    Yes. When the invoice is sent again, all listed email addresses receive the updated invoice.

  2. Can I add or remove email addresses after sending the invoice?
    Yes. You can update the email list and resend the invoice.

  3. Does adding more recipients affect payment collection?
    No. Adding recipients only controls who receives the invoice email.
