You can charge a customer’s outstanding (overdue) balance directly from a booking in MioCommerce using MioPay (powered by Stripe).
Use this when:
A booking was partially charged
An outstanding balance remains
You’re ready to collect the remaining amount
Charging the balance through MioCommerce ensures the payment is properly recorded and tied to the booking.
Before You Start
MioPay (Stripe) must be connected to your MioCommerce account
The customer must have a credit or debit card on file

On the booking, locate the Charge Customer button on the right-hand side.
Step 3: Complete the Charge
A payment window will appear with the outstanding balance pre-filled.
Confirm MioPay (Stripe) is selected
Confirm the customer’s card is shown
Click Yes, Charge the Customer to complete the payment
The charge is processed securely and applied immediately to the booking.
Best Practice
For accurate records and reporting, it’s best to charge outstanding balances directly from MioCommerce.
If actions are taken directly in Stripe, MioCommerce will not know about it and there will be no record for the same in MioCommerce account.
