The MioCommerce Mobile App allows you to charge customers on-site using MioPay (via Stripe). Charging through the mobile app works the same way as the web dashboard, with support for full, partial, and outstanding balance charges.

Use this option when you’re completing a service on-site and want to collect payment immediately.

Charge a customer through the Mobile App

Step 1: Open the Booking

Open the MioCommerce Mobile App and find the customer’s booking you want to charge.

Step 2: Open the Action Menu

  • Tap the popup menu button at the bottom center of the screen

Step 3: Select “Charge Customer”

  • Choose Charge Customer from the popup menu

Step 4: Complete the Charge

Charging on mobile works the same as on web:

  • The customer’s primary card is pre-selected

  • You can choose a different card if available

  • You can:

    • Charge the full booking amount

    • Charge the outstanding balance

    • Enter a partial amount

Once confirmed:

  • If you charge using MioPay, the payment is processed securely and charged to the card

  • If you record a collection, the payment is logged for record-keeping and no card charge is made

  • The charge is reflected immediately in the booking and customer profile

One-Time Credit Card Charges (Without Saving the Card)

NEW!

This is ideal when:

  • You want to process a one-time payment

  • The customer does not want their card stored

The charge is completed securely and recorded in MioCommerce, without storing the card for future transactions.

Summary

  1. Mobile charging works the same as the web dashboard

  2. Full, partial, and outstanding balance charges are supported

  3. The primary card is auto-selected for speed

  4. One-time card charges are supported without storing card details
