You can charge a customer’s outstanding (overdue) balance directly from MioCommerce.
This is the recommended approach, as it keeps your payment records, booking balance, and customer history fully in sync.
Why Charge the Balance Through MioCommerce?
When you charge an overdue balance through MioCommerce:
The payment is tied directly to the booking
The customer’s balance updates automatically
Your reports and payment history remain accurate
Note: While it’s technically possible to charge a customer directly in Stripe, charges made outside MioCommerce won’t automatically appear in your MioCommerce records. This can lead to missing payment history or incorrect balances.

For accurate tracking and a complete payment record, always charge outstanding balances from within MioCommerce whenever possible.
