This is the first part of the “Pricing My Services” series.

Once you’ve defined your pricing strategy, this guide explains where pricing is configured inside your Booking Page and what each pricing section controls.

The 4 Sections to Add Pricing

All pricing in MioCommerce is built from four core sections. These work together to calculate the total shown in the Booking Summary:

  1. Base Pricing Section

  2. Image Pricing Section

  3. Extras

  4. Frequency or Prepaid Bundles

Each section plays a different role.

Let's get started with Part I

By default, MioCommerce’s templates come preset with what we believe are your industry’s best practices for pricing.

On the Booking Page, the sections that have an impact on pricing are (More in detail later) :

Section 1 - Base Pricing Section

This is where you define how the main service price is calculated.

For example for cleaning businesses use this section when pricing depends on:

  • Number of bedrooms

  • Number of bathrooms

  • Size of property

  • Type of vehicle

  • Quantity of items

  • Service level

The Base Pricing Section allows you to create customizable questions with customizable answers. Each answer can affect pricing and labor time.

This is typically where most of your pricing logic lives.

Example - For Cleaning company - No. of bedrooms, No. of bathrooms, No. of Floors

For Mobile Car wash company - Size of car, etc

Example Image For Car Wash/Detailing Business

For Pressure Washing Business - Displaying multiple Services

For Landscaping Business

Section 2 - Base Pricing section using images

This section works like Base Pricing, but uses images instead of plain text.

Use it when:

  • Visual selection improves clarity

  • Customers choose between packages

  • Service options are easier to understand with icons or images

It increases engagement and makes the booking experience more intuitive.

Section 3 - Extras Pricing Section

Extras allow customers to purchase additional services along with the main service.

Examples:

  • Interior detailing

  • Ozone treatment

  • Engine cleaning

  • Appliance cleaning add-ons

Extras:

  • Are optional

  • Appear as a separate subtotal

  • Increase revenue per booking

Use Extras for add-ons that are not required to calculate the base service.

Section 4 - Frequency Or Prepaid Bundles

Frequency Or Bundles help increase customer lifetime value by getting repeat bookings.

Example - How often would you like us to mow? (Save up to 15%)

Onetime (Discount 0%)

Weekly (5%)

Every 2 weeks (10%)

Every 4 weeks (15%)

Add Frequency in your live pricing and real-time booking pages

Purpose of Prepaid Bundles - Allow your customers to purchase multiple units (customizable bundles) of the same service at one time

Use these to:

  • Encourage repeat bookings

  • Secure revenue in advance

  • Improve customer retention

Example: Buy a Bundle (Packages) & save!

4 Cleaning (Discount 5%)

6 Cleaning (Discount 10%)

8 Cleaning (Discount 15%)
