How to Set Up 1-on-1 Reviews Automation

Configure automatic review requests after completed services

1-on-1 Reviews Automation allows MioAssistant to automatically send review requests after services are completed — based on the rules you define.

Follow the steps below to configure your review automation settings.

Subscription Requirement

To enable 1-on-1 Reviews Automation, you must have 1-on-1 Reviews activated. It can be added to your MioCommerce subscription at any time.

Set Up 1-on-1 Reviews Automation

Step 1: Open 1-on-1 Reviews Automation Settings

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click on Automations

Step 2: Enable 1-on-1 Reviews Automation

Navigate to the 1-on-1 Reviews Automation section. This is where all automation rules are configured.

Click on Setup

Step 3: Enable Automation

Turn the automation ON by selecting Yes.

Once enabled, MioAssistant will automatically request reviews based on your settings.

Step 4: Choose Customer Enrollment Options

When enabling the automation, a confirmation pop-up appears.

Choose how customers should be enrolled:

  • Enroll all new customers - Any customer you add after turning this to “Yes” will be included in 1-on-1 Review Automation, using the rules you set below.

  • Enroll all existing customers now - If you select Yes, all existing customers will be included once the rules are set.

    For customers with recurring bookings (like weekly services), set review frequency such as after every 5–7 bookings

Click Enable Automation to confirm.

Step 5a: Configure One-Time Customer

It is recommended to request a review after every completed service. This helps maximize review volume.

Step 5b: Choose How Reviews are Triggered

Select when reviews are sent:

  • After a booking ends

  • Or after a booking is manually marked as complete

Choose the option that best matches how your team closes bookings.

Step 5c: Configure Review Timing

You can also control when the review is sent:

Common options include:

• 1 hour after service
• Later the same day
• The following day

This ensures review requests feel timely and natural, not disruptive.

Step 6: Configure Reviews for Recurring Customers

For recurring customers, Reviews can be requested less frequently.

Best practice: Request reviews every few visits (for example, every 5–10 bookings) rather than after every service. This avoids review fatigue while still providing valuable insights over time.

Step 7: Save Your Settings

Click Save to apply your configuration.

Once saved, MioAssistant will begin sending review requests automatically according to your rules.

What Happens After Setup

After 1-on-1 Reviews Automation is enabled:

  • Review requests are sent automatically

  • One-time and recurring customers are handled differently

  • Automated Review requests and responses are marked with a purple icon

  • Automation does not re-run for the same service. If a review request is not sent for any reason, you can still send it manually if needed.

Review Automated Reviews Activity

You can review all automated review activity from the Automation Activity page.

The purple icon helps you:

  • Identify automated review

  • Review responses quickly

  • Understand what the system handled for you


Important Notes

• Automation will not re-send a review request for the same service
• You can adjust automation settings at any time
• Manual review requests can still be sent if needed
