How is "Interactive Quote" different from "Request a Quote"?
How is "Interactive Quote" different from "Request a Quote"?

"Interactive Quote" and "Request a Quote" are completely two different features.

"Request a Quote" is a type of Booking Page that you can embed on your website and hide the price of the service (Booking Cost Summary). This helps you to receive a service request online when you don't want to share the price instantly.

On the other hand, for example, when you receive a call-in booking from a customer who does not want to buy and confirm a booking right away, you can opt to send them an IQ.

Simply login to your MioCommerce account and navigate to “Interactive Quote”. Then create & send professional Interactive Quote to the customers . You can create an IQ using either by

1) using an existing Booking Pages or

2) by creating a fully customized IQ. (see image below).

Before sending the IQ you can also preview it. The IQ will be sent by email and/or SMS (SMS for GROW customers only). When your customer receives the IQ by SMS or email, they will automatically be able to accept the quote or ask for modifications. If accepted, they will then be prompted to enter their credit card (for new customers) and select a date for the service based on your calendar and availability ( to learn more about our Calendar feature click HERE) .

There are multiple benefits of using IQ, such as -

  • Skip the wait and enhance customer experience - When receiving a call-in booking, you can create an IQ instantly without having to ask and fill in any customer information (except email). Save it and send it later or send instantly via Email and/or SMS

  • Increase your average revenue per customer - Add multiple frequency and add-ons directly in the IQ. Your customers can select desired service frequency and book.

  • Engage and sell more by easily sending IQ by email or text

  • Be informed instantly - Receive instant email notification when a customer declines the quote with a reason, easily modify or edit an IQ with a click and send again

  • Avoid back-and-forth revisions - By allowing your customer to modify an Interactive Quote Online, your customers' can select the services that best fit their needs, and watch their interactive quote total automatically update before they book.
