Advanced Quotes are designed for creating detailed estimates. They allow you to reuse your Live Pricing & Real-Time Booking Pages or Interactive Quoting Pages to create accurate Quotes in just a few steps.
When should I use an Advanced Quote?
Use an Advanced Quote when:
You already have a Live Pricing or an Interactive Quoting Page
You want to reuse your existing pricing, options, and add-ons
you want to create a more detailed quote with services, options, and frequencies, notes and attachments — even if you’re starting from scratch
If you already know the exact price and just need to send a fast estimate, a Quick Quote may be a better fit.
This article provides a step-by-step guide to creating an Advanced Quote, divided into eight detailed sections for easy navigation.
Section 1 - Ways to Create an Advanced Quote
You can create an Advanced Quote from multiple places in MioCommerce:
Navigate to All-in-1 E-Commerce, then select Create -> Quote -> Advanced Quote
Navigate to the All-in-1 E-Commerce Dashboard, hover over the Create button, and select Create an Advanced Quote.
Navigate to any customer profile, then select Create Advanced Quote from the Actions menu on the left
Section 2 - Choose who the Quote is for
You can issue an Advanced Quote to either a new prospect or an existing customer.
New prospect
Only an email address is required
All other details can be added later
Existing customer
Customer details (name, email, phone, location) are auto-filled if they already exist in your account
This makes Advanced Quotes ideal for call-ins, email inquiries, or follow-ups.
Section 3 - Add a service location (Optional)
For new prospects, a service location is optional and can be added later
For existing customers, saved locations are added automatically
If adding a new location, assign a nickname to easily recognize it later
You can always edit the location before converting the Quote into a booking.
Section 4 - Create a quote from an existing Advanced Booking Page or create a custom quote from scratch
You have two ways to build an Advanced Quote:
Use an existing Advanced Booking Page
You can base the Quote on:
All configured questions, pricing rules, extras, and options will automatically appear, allowing you to create the Quote quickly and consistently.
Create a Custom Quote from scratch
If you don’t want to use an existing page, you can build the Quote from scratch by manually adding services, extras, and discounts.
After choosing any of the above approach, select the service type (for example: Home Cleaning, Commercial Cleaning, Mobile Detailing, Pet Services).
For example, if you select Use Existing Live Pricing & Real-Time Booking Page and then choose Basic Home Cleaning, all the questions and pricing you previously set up for the Basic Home Cleaning Live Pricing & Real-Time Booking Page will be displayed.
Now, simply select answers to the pricing questions, add any extras or custom options you need—and you're done!
Section 5 - Add or edit line items
Use the Editable Standard Quote Form to:
Add goods and services
Edit pricing or quantities
Remove items as needed
This section controls what appears on the final Quote sent to the customer.
Section 6 - Set service frequencies
Boost sales by offering flexible service frequency options.
In case you selected Use an existing Advanced Booking Page, all the service frequencies defined on that page will be displayed here. You’ll also have the option to add or remove frequency options as needed.
Once you send the Quote, your customer will receive it via email and/or text. All available frequencies will be displayed with a Book & Buy Now! option, allowing them to select and purchase their preferred frequency.
Section 7 - Review optional settings
Before sending the Quote, you can optionally:
Add notes or attachments
Apply taxes (configured in Tax Settings)
Set a custom expiration date or choose no expiration
Use your default Quote settings or override them
Add Terms & Conditions (up to 2048 characters)
Tax Settings
Add applicable taxes. To create a new tax rate, go to Tax settings.
Expiration Settings
You can set an expiration date for the quote. If the customer clicks the purchase link after this date, they will see a message informing them that the quote has expired.
You can use the existing quote settings. To review or edit your settings, click here.
Alternatively, select a custom expiration date or choose to have no expiration date.
Learn more on how to modify expiration settings.
Terms & Conditions
Finally, you have the option to add Terms & Conditions, which will appear on the Quote. The maximum length is 2048 characters.
Section 8 - Send the Quote
Once everything is ready, you can:
Preview the Quote
Save it as a draft to send later
Save and Send the Quote immediately
When sending, you’ll choose whether to deliver it via email, SMS, or both.
When you click Save and Send Quote, a pop-up will appear to confirm whether you want to send it via email or SMS.
What happens after the Quote is sent?
The customer reviews the Quote online
They can accept or decline it
If accepted, the Quote is automatically converted into a booking
You receive an email notification
The booking becomes available in your Bookings Page
What to do next
After sending an Advanced Quote, you can:
Track its status from the Quotes page
Edit and resend it if the customer requests changes
Let automatic reminders follow up for you
Move straight into scheduling and dispatch once it’s accepted
